Our contract with Bagnalls is part of National Grid's Anti-Vandal Guard improvements for protecting above ground mains pipes. The diameters of the pipes we guard range from anything between 100mm to over 800mm. We currently cover three areas, all from our Chesterfield base, which are West Midlands, East Midlands and the North West.
We fabricate and fit several types of AVG, dependant on the exposure of the pipe and surrounding areas, which include:
- Spinners
- 90° & 180° Fan Guards
- Bespoke Cages and Fences
Our bespoke deterrents are fabricated on site in Chesterfield and are built entirely to client specification. Our experienced engineers fit all guards onsite.
As many of the locations that we install these guards involve river crossings, we have an environmental consideration with all our works, which we take very seriously. All locations undertake a comprehensive RAM (Risk & Method) approval process before works begin.
