This project started in February 2024 and was completed April 2024. We were tasked by the client to install a welded gas system within a new shopping development in Rotherham.

Scope:

• 89m of 2″ GIS/L2:2018
• 47m of 3″ GIS/L2:2018
• 101m of 4″ GIS/L2:2018
• GIS/F7:2006 fittings and flanges
• Pressure testing & weld inspection

This was a new development in Rotherham. The new centre will house several restaurants, a cinema and a hotel. We were employed as a contractor and deployed three teams intermittently to the site. Some parts of the pipework were prefabricated in our yard and painted where possibly before being transported to site. All pipework was tested and welding inspection was completed at 100% visual inspection and 100% MPI inspection.
