We were tasked by the client to install a replacement gas riser system.<\/p>\n<h4>Scope:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Bespoke scaffolding to 5x blocks of flats<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1,000m of welded steel risers &amp; laterals<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">320 lateral entry points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our responsibility for the job was to act as a Contractor for tRIIO. tRIIO was a joint venture between Morrison Utility Services and Skanska UK and they were acting as CDM for the site.<br \/>\nAs this project took place towards the end of the first COVID lockdown in 2020, we faced some serious hazards &amp; challenges on site which we do not normally take into consideration, where we required the help of tRIIO site managers, Nottingham Council &amp; even residents on site.<br \/>\nResidents were more willing to help with access in the wake of COVID than was anticipated which aided in completing the job in a timely manner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This project started in June 2020 and was completed March 2021.
